In addition to teaching a host of workshops now and in the past, I teach, facilitate, consult on, and study the efficacy of inclusive science communication training (visual, writing, community-focused, and more).
Teaching: I post the syllabus for each course I teach (see advice & resources tab).
Capacity building: I direct and co-founded the UW Science Communication Initiative. I am a co-lead PI of a Research Coordination Network on Science Communication in Undergraduate Teaching and Education (SCUTE). And, I co-founded and served leadership roles in the Communication & Engagement Section of the Ecological Society of America for a decade.
