WINNER: Outstanding photojournalism award (2012)
I was named Quebec’s Outstanding Photojournalist (2012).

What motivates me:

I love photography because it enables me to capture and share the everyday activities that make the world the astonishing, complex, and inspiring place that it is. I draw inspiration from real people making an effort to understand and improve the world around them – scientists, farmers, citizen-advocates, urban homesteaders, and artists. Combined with the right words, photographs can and do make a difference. They connect us to each other, compel us to reconsider our biases and assumptions, and raise our awareness about what it means to be an earth citizen. I’m interested in collaborations and assignments that explore these connections.

Geographic focus:

Montana, Arizona, Saskatchewan & Quebec, with some stock images available for Washington state, New England, Minnesota, California and the Maritime provinces. Available for assignments (almost) anywhere.

Current & previous clients:

My images, graphic design & instruction have been used by scientific journals, periodicals, and clients across North America.  View past client list.
