I’ll be leading two workshops next month – one on using emails for outreach and one on sketching inspired by Greek myths. See below for complete details, and I hope to see some of you at the workshops. And of course, feel free to spread the word and bring a friend!

What if your email communication could look like it was professionally designed and scheduled, for FREE?
In this 1-hour webinar workshop, you’ll participate in an interactive exploration of my favorite email marketing and outreach platform – MailChimp.
I will take you step-by-step through the process of planning an email campaign, building an email list and creating a visually attractive email template.
We will focus on three key areas:
Compliance with the Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL);
Enhance and manage your email-based marketing and outreach efforts;
Create a checklist for planning your email communications.
This workshop is hosted by CEDEC’s Small Business Support Network.

Sketch mythology at the Musée de la civilisation!
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 23 @ 5:30 PM en français
Inspired by the mythological cabinets of curiosities of the Muses’ Workshop, participants in this workshop will sketch from life (observational drawing).
In the style of a travel journal (carnet de voyage), I will teach you how to record your observations using a combination of sketches and notes.
Whether you are a novice or a well-seasoned artist, a mythology buff or a curious newcomer, the techniques introduced during this soirée offer a strong foundation for those interested in developing urban sketching and journal-keeping habits. Participants will receive a sketchbook and sketching materials will be provided.
REGISTER BY CALLING: 418 643-2158 (the Musée de la civilisation’s registration line).
